Eltrode heat pumps at new local centre in Asker
Eltrode AS delivered XHP40 heat pumps for the conversion of Foliefabrikken in Asker — an exciting project by NorgesGruppen Eiendom and main contractor Ø.M. Fjeld. The former industrial site is being transformed into a modern neighbourhood centre with shops, dining and meeting places for local residents.
Foliefabrikken has a long industrial history dating back to 1883, but the former production premises are now being repurposed for the future. Eltrode AS delivered high-efficiency XHP40 heat pumps providing sustainable heating and drying of the 3,000 square metre premises.
The XHP40 series is specifically developed for larger construction projects and delivers significant environmental benefits. The system at Foliefabrikken will reduce energy consumption by up to 70% compared to traditional solutions, resulting in CO₂ reductions of over 80% and much lower operating costs.
