Eltrode delivers heat pumps to NRK in Bergen

Project:
Delivery of temporary heating and climate control for TV production
Client / Tenant: NRK TV-produksjon
Production: Det Store Bakemesterskapet 2026
Location: Bergen
Provider: Eltrode AS

Project description

Eltrode AS delivered energy-efficient air-to-air heat pumps for the production area of Det Store Bakemesterskapet 2026 in Bergen. The solution was established as part of the technical infrastructure for NRK’s temporary TV production, ensuring stable temperature conditions within the production marquees and associated workspaces throughout the filming period.

The project demanded high levels of operational reliability, flexibility, and rapid installation. The production area consisted of large tent structures with significant air volumes and varying thermal loads throughout the day. Consequently, the heat pump solution had to provide a stable heating effect under changing weather conditions, while maintaining low noise levels and minimal energy consumption.

Scope of delivery

The delivery included:

  • Engineering and design of temporary heating and climate requirements.
  • Delivery and positioning of mobile air-to-air heat pumps.
  • Electrical connection and commissioning.
  • Adaptation for tent structures and the production area.
  • Reliable operational solution for continuous TV production.

Results

The solution contributed to:

  • Stable and comfortable temperatures within the production facilities.
  • Energy-efficient heating of large-scale temporary areas.
  • Reduced need for traditional electric heating sources.
  • Reliable execution of the TV production.
  • Flexible and rapid setup tailored to the project’s schedule.

This project demonstrates Eltrode AS’s expertise in temporary energy solutions, mobile heat pump systems, and technical deliveries for demanding event and production environments. The delivery showcases how modern heat pump technology can be utilized effectively in temporary installations with high requirements for performance and stable operation.
